Marcelo Benitez
CEO & FOUNDING PARTNER
Mr. Benitez has more than 25 years of business experience in finance, as well as in the management and selection of alternative investments. He founded the Fidelis International Institute and has worked at Cemex, Boston Consulting Group, and Violy & Company. He is a Public Accountant from ITESM (Mexico) and holds an MBA from Stanford University. He currently participates in multiple Boards in Mexico and Spain.
Jose María Carbajo
*MANAGING PARTNER
Mr. Carbajo was Managing Partner at ETS Asset Management Factory, where he has led the business development and product teams for more than 15 years, in Madrid and London. His extensive experience in the financial asset and wealth management space stems from his previous role at Deutsche Bank. He has a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and Business Administration from UCM (Spain) and a PDD from IESE (Spain).
Alberto Milagro
OPERATIONS DIRECTOR
Mr. Milagro has more than 15 years of experience in private banking, asset management, and financial consulting. He has worked at Capgemini Consulting, Axis Corporate, and Banco Espirito Santo. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Management from UCM (Spain) and an MBA from IE Business School (Spain).
Francisco Saavedra
PARTNER SPAIN
Mr. Saavedra has more than 20 years of experience in the financial and real estate sector, working at Credit Suisse and Banco Santander. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Management and a Master’s degree in Economics from the Austrian School.
Angel García Diez
*ALTERNATIVE INVESTMENTS DIRECTOR
Mr. García has more than 25 years of experience in the financial sector focused on asset management. Before joining Proaltus, he was CIO in two Spanish insurance companies with AuM above $3bn, in liquid and alternative strategies, for 15 years. He has a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and a Master's degree in Portfolio Management from the IEB (Spain) and a PDG from IESE (Spain).
María Medina
*ACCOUNTING & ADMIN
Mrs. Medina has 12 years of experience in Administration, Accounting and Treasury. She worked at CFE Mexico before joining Proaltus. She is a Public Accountant from ITESM (Mexico), holds a Master’s degree in Banking and Finance from Francisco de Vitoria University (Spain), as well as an MBA from ITESM (Mexico).
Kateryna Stetska
*LEGAL & COMPLIANCE
Ms. Stetska has 6 years of experience in the asset management, legal and financial sector. She holds double degree in Business Administration and Law from the University of Granada (Spain), as well as a Master’s degree in Law of Banking, Markets, and Financial Institutions from CUNEF (Spain). She previously worked at the European Venture Philanthropy Association and at the European Parliament in Brussels.
Guillermo Andrada
*INVESTMENT ANALYST
Mr. Andrada holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and Finance from the University of San Andrés (Argentina) a Master's in Finance from IE Business School (Spain), and is a candidate for the third level of the CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) program. He has professional experience as an analyst in leading companies in their respective sectors such as JPMorgan and CBRE.
José González Matud
ASSET MANAGEMENT ANALYST
José holds a double degree in Business Administration and Law. He began his professional career at KPMG in the legal area of TAX VAT. Later, he completed his internship in the business area at PROALTUS Capital Partners as an intern in the investments department. He is currently part of the Asset Management, where he works as an Operations Analyst.
Ventura Gil Peña
FOUNDING PARTNER
Ventura has over 25 years of experience in the technology sector, specializing in growth strategies and acquisitions. He founded and led Infortelecom, one of the leading cloud infrastructure companies in Spain, and later headed Business Software Group (BSG), an industrial group dedicated to software. He is currently a Founding Partner at VVV Capital Partners SCR-PYME, a venture capital firm that invests in B2B software, based in Spain, with a strong local presence and a proven track record in the technology sector.
Ignacio Sierra Álvaro
*FUND REPORTING ANALYST
Ignacio holds a degree in Finance and Business Administration and Management, and a Master’s in Financial Management and Control from EAE Business School. He has extensive experience in fund reporting within the private equity sector, having worked for leading firms such as CSC and coordinated international projects with teams across Luxembourg, the United States, and Spain.
